What We Think

Absolute wizardry from our favorite Maine luthier!  All of Dana's Signature models are superlative (and how could they not be? He takes them from start to finish!) in every way but, just as importantly, they've got soul and personality right out of the case.  This particular 12 fret dread?  Sort of like a D28S that opted for the deep, dark serenity of the Maine interior over the bright lights and honky tonks of the big city.  That Cocobolo sounds even more dramatic than it looks--miles deep bass, strong low mids, and sparkling sustaining highs.  The already overtone heavy tonewood combination is strengthened and solidified by the 12 fret to the body construction.  We've never heard anything like it and won't be forgetting it any time soon!
