This innovative product from L.R. Baggs is a remarkable new advancement in acoustic pickup technology. Their new Tru-Mic setup puts their noise-cancelling microphone just 3 mm from the bridge plate providing much higher gain before feedback when compared to most internal mics. What you have is a very natural tone that doesn't come out boxy or boomy that you can then blend with the undersaddle pickup to fill out the low end. Unlike many similar products, you actually get a higher signal from the internal mic than from the undersaddle pickup, which really does produce superior tone. Imagine, an internal mic that actually sounds like a mic'd acoustic guitar! With controls for volume, blend, and phase, you can make most adjustments right there on the unobtrusive soundhole-mounted control unit.
