3rd Power's DREAM 40 AC amplifier takes the comprehensive AC channel of our British Dream MKII and packs it all into a smart, streamlined package. You'll be amazed by DREAM 40 AC's crisp performance with superior precision, consistency and beauty.

4 iconic British AC voicings

Inspired by our very own British Dream MKII, the Dream 40 AC takes four classic AC voices and packs them into this single channel amplifier.

Four different vintage AC preamp voices plus a mid boost/cut switch are provided, including Normal, Brilliance, Top Boost 1 and Top Boost 2—even a Top Cut control is on hand to fine-tune your tone. With this amplifier's extended headroom, you'll love how it stays clean even when you take the volume knob past Noon.

Tube or Solid State Rectification
For the ultimate experience in the "feel" department, we built in a rectifier tube socket loaded with a GZ34 tube rectifier and ship the amp with a diode rectifier adapter as well. Go with the GZ34 for a vintage "tube sag" or install the diode rectifier adapter for more clean headroom and punch. The best thing is that you can choose whichever you prefer.

HybridMASTER™ Volume Control
HybridMASTER™ and the Venue Switch are located on the front panel giving you the confidence to play what you feel when you feel it at exactly the volume you need for the occasion. Think of the Venue Switch as a "macro" volume adjustment - choose between full volume (Stage Mode) or an 80% volume reduction (Studio Mode) - and the HybridMASTER knob as a "micro" volume adjustment allowing you to fine tune your output levels. Patent-pending, HybridMASTER is volume management executed to perfection.
