After Jamie, 3rd Power's builder and designer, came through our studio for our video demo series, we knew that we had to grab a custom colored matching head and cab. And when we looked at our options...well, of COURSE we wanted to pick colors that represented the great relationship that SoundPure and 3rd Power have. Thus, the 3rd Power Amplification British Dream MKII Tuxedo Blue with Dream Series 1x12 AlNiCo Gold Cab was born!

First off, the British Dream is the ultimate amp for showing your love for our friends across the pond. The AC40 side gives you 8 amp sounds based on various circuits in the history of the AC-series and its descendents with 4 voicing options and a 2-position mid contour switch. 'Normal' will give you vintage AC punch with a bigger bass response, 'Briliance' adds in a little more presence to show off that classic AC chime, while 'Top Boost 1' and 'Top Boost 2' show off Jamie's in-depth knowledge of the iconic Top Boost circuits in the AC heritage. But Jamie didn't stop there! The Mid Contour switch in the up position is modeled after a vintage 1962 Vox AC30 that Jamie had in for repair at his shop, while the switch in the down position shows off a more modern, mid-hump voicing.

And if that's not enough, the British Dream MKII has a HUGE sounding Plexi side with two gain settings, letting you go from classic EL34-sounds to hot-rodded Plexi tones. Coupled with Jamie's patented HybridMaster™ circuit design, you will be in tone heaven.

When I first tried Jamie's amps in 2011 at a trade show, I was blown away. The British Dream caught my eye, and the tones he was getting from a Telecaster plugged straight in were just incredible. Beatles/Petty-esque chime in the AC channel, with vintage EL34-voiced crunch coming from the '68 Plexi channel. If you're a fan of the British Invasion, this amp will drop you to the floor! So, so good.

HybridMASTER™ and the Venue Switch are located on the front panel giving you the confidence to play what you feel when you feel it at exactly the volume you need for the occasion. Think of the Venue Switch as a "macro" volume adjustment - choose between full volume (Stage Mode) or an 80% volume reduction (Studio Mode) - and the HybridMASTER knob as a "micro" volume adjustment allowing you to fine tune your output levels.
