The Transceiver is a four channel insert station. The main function is to convert +4dB balanced signals to unbalanced and back again. Each channel has a send level, the return has a gain control and a polarity switch. Among other things you can use The Transceiver to do the following:

It's an insert station. Insert unbalanced gear such as guitar pedals and old echo fx into your DAW or console.
It's an active DI-box with up to 20dB gain. Plug your favourite instrument into your collection of vintage gear via The Transceiver.
It's a reamp tool.
It's a Swiss Army Knife on stage. Hook up balanced gear on stage between your instrument and amp.

About Manufacturer

TK Audio is based in Halmstad, a small town in the southwest of Sweden. It started out in 2008 as an additional brand to Vintagedesign as we wanted to develop products with a bit more modern style. Thomas Kristiansson (or TK as his friends call him) is the mastermind behind both Vintagedesign and TK Audio and he has been working with electronics, cords and sounds in different kinds of professions his entire career.

Our philosophy is to produce creative audio solutions and assemble them in Sweden.

We buy the chassis from a local manufacturer and the main part of the panels is also produced nearby. Up until just recently we have assembled and soldered the circuit boards by ourselves but as the demand for our products has increased we can´t keep up so now we also use another company to help us out. They are situated just a 2 hour drive from Halmstad so we can still proudly say that our products are hand made in Sweden. We take responsibility for keeping our production as environmental friendly as possible and by having full control over the production and of course making all the final assembling by ourselves we can make sure that the quality always is top notch!
