TK Audio is announcing the release of their newest 500 series module, TK-lizer 500, which features all the power of TK’s flagship TK-lizer dual mono EQ, including the M/S functionality that has made it such a staple in studios all around the world.

A few minor additions include extending the cut/boost range to +/-8dB across forty-one discrete steps. The level control ranges from infinity to +6dB, also in forty-one discrete steps, and both the high and low bands can be switched.

“It’s been challenging to squeeze a dual mono EQ with sixteen rotary controls plus toggle switches into a dual slot 500 unit”, states TK Audio president Thomas Kristiansson. “The unique feature set, pristine sound and precise control make this an indispensable tool for tracking, mixing and mastering.”

About Manufacturer

TK Audio is based in Halmstad, a small town in the southwest of Sweden. It started out in 2008 as an additional brand to Vintagedesign as we wanted to develop products with a bit more modern style. Thomas Kristiansson (or TK as his friends call him) is the mastermind behind both Vintagedesign and TK Audio and he has been working with electronics, cords and sounds in different kinds of professions his entire career.

Our philosophy is to produce creative audio solutions and assemble them in Sweden.

We buy the chassis from a local manufacturer and the main part of the panels is also produced nearby. Up until just recently we have assembled and soldered the circuit boards by ourselves but as the demand for our products has increased we can´t keep up so now we also use another company to help us out. They are situated just a 2 hour drive from Halmstad so we can still proudly say that our products are hand made in Sweden. We take responsibility for keeping our production as environmental friendly as possible and by having full control over the production and of course making all the final assembling by ourselves we can make sure that the quality always is top notch!
