Sound Pure's Take

Condition: Used, Very Good

As a custom-shop creation, it goes without saying that this is not your typical Taylor. Just look at these appointments: that beautiful abalone rosette; the body and ebony fretboard bound in ivoroid; that back composed of two pieces of Indian rosewood so well-matched you'd swear you're looking at a mirror image. The mahogany neck is very fast and slim with a unique profile; it feels like a particularly soft, shallow V in the cowboy-chord range before gradually flattening into a more typical C as you move up the instrument's range. But what does it sound like? Extraordinarily well-balanced, regardless of whether you're strumming or fingerpicking, exhibiting warm bass and smooth mids without losing any of that characteristic Taylor clarity and treble chime. This isn't just "not your typical Taylor;" it's an exemplary one.
