Sound Pure's Take
Condition: Used, Very Good
SP Luthier Notes: A few minor dents were filled, color-matched and refinished. Frets that couldn’t be restored were replaced with spec-accurate fretwire, then leveled, re-crowned, and polished for a uniform result. No further work required.
Built with a classic Grand Concert body shape, this vintage Taylor 612C pairs a solid spruce top with maple back and sides for outstanding note clarity, bright articulation, and rapid acoustic response. Weighing a lightweight 4 pounds 2 ounces, it features a smooth mahogany neck topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard adorned with mother-of-pearl inlays.
An ebony bridge and matching ebony peghead veneer provide a sleek visual anchor, complemented by an abalone rosette and gold Grover tuners. Outfitted with an L.R. Baggs Element pickup system, this acoustic-electric captures its natural, focused tone with excellent clarity when plugged in. A protective hardshell case is included.
