This Taylor is firmly in excellent shape and you'll really be happy with how it's playing right now! The 12 fret design definitely gives this a different sound than you might be expecting from Taylor and I'm surprised at the balance in the lows/highs on this model! The Lutz spruce top is very sensitive and responds well if you're using your fingers for more delicate playing but the guitar is also great if you're using a pick and want something that won't get muddy when your right hand attack increases. I really love the sound here, it reminds me of Taylor crossed with another familiar name in acoustic guitars and has an overall balance that I like alot. On Taylor’s 12-fret Grand Concert models, the shorter neck meets the body at the 12th fret rather than the 14th, and the bridge position is shifted closer to the center of the lower bout.
