Overview

  • Cardioid pattern
  • For pickup of speech or music at close range (under 50 cm)
  • Considerable attenuation of low frequencies
  • Emphasis of high frequencies
  • For severe acoustic conditions

This capsule type has the same features as the MK 4 S, but in addition emphasizes the frequency response in the 9 kHz region by 4 dB. This effects a further improvement of speech intelligibility, particularly in very reverberant venues such as churches.
