Sound Pure's Take

This glorious, iconic instrument ain't afraid of nothing. It's got nerves of...well, STEEL! Seriously though, it's an articulate beast of a guitar. It's got that cavernous metallic reverb you'd expect coupled with a clarity and sweetness that's truly startling. You can take it from a dry whisper to a bark in a millisecond. You can comp and cut through a big band, you can folk it up and get the whole barn shaking, and of course, you can slip on a bottleneck and send a cold shiver down the spine of a dusty delta road.

I love the tri-cone grill and unique cover-plate. It's a new look, but completely in keeping with tradition. The diamond inlay and Pearloid headstock give it that extra bling that sets it over the edge. You can flip it around to admire the beautifully bursted hard rock maple neck, too.

The cutaway and slimline pickup ensure that you can truly take it wherever you want. Couple this with a nice 15" amp and you'll have range for days.

We're thrilled to finally be carrying National guitars. They are near and dear to my heart and I'd be happy to find the perfect one for YOU. Everyone needs a national!

In this video, SoundPure Acoustic Guitar Expert, Robinson Earle, demonstrates the differences between National Guitars wood and steel body resonators. The ResoRocket is one of our newly designed single resonator guitars.  This model incorporates a redesigned coverplate pattern to complement the distinctive Tricone-style grill work. The upper bout has been modified for easier access to the higher frets. The El Trovador guitar features a large, 4" deep body constructed of mahogany.  The body is bound in multi-layer celluloid, with a matching purfling border around the coverplate.  A wood soundwell houses the resonator.
