What We Think

Lap players, we don't always have as much as we'd like for y'all but with this used M1, you'll never be wanting for a square neck buddy.  We love the fullness and complexity of this beauty's tone--absolutely room-filling.  And beautiful really is the word--the tricone, all hog-design construction really takes this instrument in a different (sweeter, warmer, woodier) direction than what you'd get from this guitar's single cone, all-metal brethren.

We sold this one new a couple years.  Imagine how happy we were to see how well it's been taken care--the luthier didn't need to do a thing!

Manufacturer's Description from National

After years of research and development, National Reso-Phonic Guitars is proud to introduce to you our new wood-body M-1 Tricone! At nearly 3.3 lbs. lighter than its metal-body counterpart, this instrument features laminated mahogany body construction, highlighted by a sturdy wood soundwell and hand-painted steel cover- plate. The new M-1 combines the unmistakable sound of a Tricone with the warmth of a wood-body. Outfitted with our new-alloy cones and aluminum T-bridge, we believe this instrument to be quite versatile.
