This head has got a ton of tone on tap for the gigging bass player who needs a broad range of sounds from one workhorse setup. The tube preamp offers plenty of warmth and growl for coaxing those fliptop tones we all love with the grain cranked up. Back it off and use the powerful and user friendly EQ section to carve out your sound quickly and easily for scooped slap bass sounds, punchy mid-boosted fingerstyle, or use the Deep pull to bring the low end to a rumbling, stage shaking level. Add on the DI out, Effects Loop, Tuner Out, and footswitch capabilities and 600 whopping clean watts of power and you've got just about everything you need, no matter the gig!

The M6 CARBINE expands the MESA® Family of Bass amplifiers with an exciting new voice that’s super fast and extremely focused! The output section relies on the same time-proven array of custom designed mosfets used in our M-Pulse, Big Block and Titan models, but the preamp and driver section are all new creating a very different feel and attitude.
Up front the tube preamp utilizes a standard tone control string of Bass, Mid and Treble to shape the basic sound, but the shaping power doesn’t stop there.
