Several tiny indentions behind the bridge, likely due to steel string ball ends coming in contact with the top finish.
This Lowden F model is warm and sweet with a nice softness that will remind you of pre-war guitars but with Lowden's signature sound always present. The F is a very comfortable medium sized body that most players will enjoy playing for longer sessions and you get a sound that has some characteristics of larger body instruments (great bass response) while also having a bit of natural compression that helps keep things balanced. This model would likely be listed as excellent if it were not for the small dings in the top near the bridge and is really playing great!
The Original Series was the very first Lowden range from 1976, just as the ‘O’ model is George’s original Lowden body design. Although the medium sized ‘F’ and concert sized ‘S’ have been added to the range since then, the Lowden standard of passionate commitment to no compromise was well and truly set.
