It seems sometimes that Fender's non-reverb Princeton Amp gets short shrift when compared to its Princeton Reverb cousin. Not having reverb can be a deal breaker for some and, let's face it, Fender's spring reverb is pretty spectacular, but give it a chance and the non-reverb Princeton will win you over for sure. To start with, it's got lots of clean headroom, which means you can turn it up a lot more before it starts breaking up and the warm, chimey clean tones that this thing can produce are the stuff of legend. I fell in love with the tremolo circuit, too, it produces some of the deepest, most hypnotic sounds I've heard. Let this vintage beauty into your heart and you won't regret it!
With an illustrious history dating back to 1946, Fender has touched and transformed music worldwide and in nearly every genre: rock ‘n’ roll, country and western, jazz, rhythm and blues and many others. Everyone from beginners and hobbyists to the world’s most acclaimed artists and performers have used Fender instruments and amps, in the process making the company not only a revered music industry name, but also a cultural icon.
