The Fender '57 Custom Champ is a 5-watt, hand-wired tube amplifier housed in a finger-joined solid pine cabinet with lacquered tweed covering and Bassman-style grille cloth. It features a single channel and drives a 1x8" Weber Special Design speaker with an alnico magnet. The all-tube circuit utilizes a 12AY7 preamp tube, a 6V6 power tube, and a 5Y3 rectifier tube at a 4-ohm impedance. The control panel includes two 1/4" inputs (Input 2 at -6dB), a black chicken-head pointer knob for volume, a red jewel light, and a vintage-style leather handle with nickel hardware.
