Manufacturer's Description from Eastwood

Custom Shop Series

The idea was simple - with so many cool vintage guitars to replicate, where does one begin? Well, let's get the customers to tell us! At any given moment in time the Custom Shop is "crowd sourcing" new models for future production. Some make it, while others don't. Some are home runs that earn the right to take a permanent spot in the Custom Shop lineup.

The Custom Shop Series captures the excitement of those quirky and cool guitars of the past. Many of the models have more knobs and switches than NASA, yet are gig-ready instruments that you can count on as your every day workhorse.

Senn Model One

We’re excited to offer our latest collaboration with Jeff Senn Guitars! You asked for more options in Jeff Senn’s Model One design and the consensus was to offer a Baritone next. This is the first Baritone design for Jeff Senn Guitars and is exclusively available through this campaign. There is no hand built Model One Baritone, this is your only way to get one!

The Baritone will be offered in all 3 colors of the previously released Senn by Eastwood Model One Guitar Metallic Red, Black, and Seafoam Green. Because, what’s better than a Model One? Two MATCHING Model Ones! AND, we’re also offering the Baritone in this new Limited-Edition Sonic Silver! The Model One is an all original solid body electric guitar designed by Jeff Senn Guitars, Nashville, TN. It is intended for the player looking for something unique, yet classic while invoking the stylized lines of the future as perceived 50 years ago yet sounds like no other guitar. While inspired by vintage Harmony, Stratotone, and Teisco guitars it offers the modern player a flexibility in tone and reliability not found in those quirky instruments of past.

About Manufacturer

Michael Robinson, the founder of Eastwood, started out buying and selling rare electric guitars. The difficulty and cost in obtaining these instruments, along with what he calls the all-too-often "sketchy quality that played like crap" led him to start a company building his own revivals from the edges of rock history. Eastwood has reinvented models and even worked with existing luthiers such as Jeff Senn to bring iconic and unique instruments to a wider player base. The result is a wide variety of instruments with a visual and sonic aesthetic all their own, coupled with an improved and smooth playability derived from modern build techniques. Each instrument is factory-milled and then hand-assembled and inspected by a seasoned pro in Chicago or Liverpool. Eastwood-playing artists include Warren Ellis, Jack White, Bill Nelson, Nick Valensi, and more! Since 2014, Eastwood also has a custom shop where they crowd-source new models for future production.
