Eastman doesn't mess around with their mandolins, period. From their broad catalogue of handcrafted instruments, mandolins constitute about a third of their overall production--that dedication shows in this lovely specimen. Where else can you get handcarved, solid wood construction with a hand painted, spirit-based varnish finish to boot? Remarkably lightweight. We're loving the subtle antiquing and warm, orange-ish glow, too. For how much?! Unreal.
