Sound Pure's Take
Condition: Used, Excellent
SP Luthier Notes: This instrument has been carefully inspected and, if necessary, serviced by our certified luthier to ensure it is in excellent playing condition.
Handcrafted with traditional luthiery methods, the Eastman MD515 is an F-style mandolin that offers benchmark acoustic response, punchy chop, and rich, resonant projection. Built with a solid carved spruce top paired with solid carved maple back and sides, its voice is focused by classic F-holes and protected under a full gloss finish. It features a maple neck with an ebony fingerboard, a 12" radius, 23 Jescar frets, a 1 3/32" bone nut, and a 13 7/8" scale length. Appointed with ivoroid top binding, pearl dot inlays, a pearl headstock logo, Pingwell tuners, an adjustable compensated ebony bridge, and a custom Eastman cast aluminum tailpiece, it comes complete with a hard case for maximum protection on the road or in the studio.
