Traditionally known for creating some of the industry's finest wood snare drums, the Craviotto Solitaire snare features a thin-wall aero-grade aluminum shell that has a dual-diamond venting system. From our experience, this is the first vented shell that surprisingly did not sound vented, so you will experience the full lush tones you expect from a non-vented shell. The shell itself is cast and rolled in the USA and provides strength allowing the lightweight aluminum to shine. 

Craviotto's new low-mass, single-point diamond tube-lug is made of solid brass and completes the package with an understated look, while also taking very little shell mass and maximizing sustain. The Solitaire is a versatile snare for all performance applications and environments, and is microphone-friendly, making it ideal for live and recording situations.

Solitaire snare drums feature our innovative dual diamond venting system modeled after our signature wood inlays found on our one-ply, solid shell wood Custom Shop drums.  

Solitaire snare drums also feature Craviotto’s new, low mass single-point diamond tube lug. This solid brass lug allows the shell to vibrate more freely.

Available in 5.5x14 and 6.5x14, Craviotto Solitaire snare drums are available in the following finishes: Matte Black and Aged Pewter.  Solitaire snare drums are outfitted with triple flange hoops, Craviotto custom snare wires, and a Trick GS007 Strainer.
