The Bricasti M7 Reverb is discussed at great length. The discussion includes common Reverb related Myths that don't exist in real world environments, and common problems associated with legacy reverb units that have been solved. The continuation of white noise and hiss that is a direct by-product of poor reverb algorithms simply does not exist in the real world, nor does it exist on the simply astonishing algorithms encompassed into the Bricast M7 Reverb unit. The Bricasti Version 1 (first chip), which by the way is upgradeable at no charge to Version 1 owners to VErsion 2, was designed to address common reverb problems with past reverbs, even the great convolution reverbs made by Altiverb, Lexicon, Sony, and others, by creating the most natural sounding true-to-life spaces ever created out of an artificial digital reverb. They are truly mind-blowing. Other myths such as the artificial modulation that totally exceeds realism in some of the great reverbs of the past like the Lexicon 480 and Lexicon, and certainly in the less expensive Lexicon PCM models, are simply overcome. Unstable images, ackward modulation, and the extensive muddiness associated with every other reverb is simply cast away with the pure reverb sounds from the M7. Version 1 was focused on owning the space of natural acoustic sounds and realistic acoustic spaces, and succeeded. Virtually every engineer that has heard the M7 and that can financially afford one is adding it to his rig as a truly indispensable tool. While other reverb tails often sour, but most assuredly do not preserve the realism into the longer tails, the Bricasti does not have this problem. The Bricasti will dynamically and actively resample and recycle into its algorithm sounds from as early as 30 (or even 60) seconds earlier on its longest reverbs, the biproduct of which is wonderful details preserved, and transparency maintained in what prove to be remarkably truthful creations of reverb, even in the longest reverb tails. We use our Bricasti M7 every day in our studios, and one of our engineers or sales experts would be glad to discuss with you whether or not they make sense for your particular needs.
