Bryan Sutton played a model like this for years and for good reason--it's hard to think of an instrument that can better capture that approach of bringing traditional flatpicking forward without straying from its roots. We opted for Madagascar back and sides on this instrument to bring it that much closer to earth without sacrificing its lofty tonal position.
