This Mint Condition, used, Regal II is the same in every way to the original, with the custom feature of a 12" Legend speaker instead of the 15" speaker that we have had in the past. The tonal qualities are nearly identical, aside from there being slightly more mid-range focus with the 12" speaker. I can't decide which I like better! All I know is that this configurations sounds amazing, and it's practically new! made in 2013 and no signs of wear at all. Comes with the original set of 5881 Tung Sol tubes (for around 30 watts) and the customer who traded this amp in also included some smaller spare tubes that you can see in the photo section of this page. Instructions/warranty info included, as well as a set of pin-up girl Victoria stickers! All the goodies with this one!

The Regal II from Victoria is really in a class of its own. This single-ended Class A design gives you tweed-circuit sponginess, coupled with overtones and touch sensitivity for days. The ability to switch tube types without rebiasing is an amazing feature. You can use one 6V6 for 5 watts of output, or get the full 35 watts with two EL-34's, and everything in between. You can even mix and match! Crazy, right? The reverb and tremolo are absolute vintage quality. This is a fantastic amp for small to mid-size gigs (and some large when miced) and really great for recording. You can get nice warm jazz tones as well as great classic rock and blues tones. Victoria Amplifier Co. proudly announces the introduction of its new "Regal II" vacuum tube guitar amplifier.

A combo amp featuring reverb and tremolo, The Regal II is a pure, single-ended class A design that utilizes a new "Adaptive Transformer Technology" that allows for the use of one or two power tubes at the same time. Therefore, operating power is rated from 5 watts to 35 watts; and at 5 watts, it's a REAL 5 watts, not some squashed approximation of 5 watts.

The Regal II is designed around a custom bifilar output transformer that is essentially two discrete transformers driving a common speaker load. This allows for the use of any combination of common 8 pin power tubes - from a single 6V6 delivering 5 watts of pure class A power, to two EL-34's for 35 watts. And because each tube is relating to its own independent transformer winding and bias resistor, any combination of different tubes types can be auditioned. Whether it be a single 6V6 or 6L6GC or a combination of the two (yes that's right, a 6V6 and a 6L6GC at the same time) the Regal II never needs biasing or adjustments when changing tubes. This versatility is also extended to rectifier tubes; the Regal II can accept any common 5 Volt rectifier including 5Y3, 5V4, 5U4, and 5AR4 with no adjustments nessessary.

The Regal II is available in laquered tweed or vanilla tolex. WeberVST Custom AlNiCo 15" speaker standard, Eminence Legend 15" and Celestion Gold optional. Footswitchable, 100% tube-driven reverb and tremolo. 100% handwired with US-made Allen Bradley resistors and custom Victoria capacitors.
