Sound Pure's Take
The Tama Starclassic Performer Birch Bubinga brings the strength of birch and the sonic richness of bubinga into one hybrid package. This hybrid tone creates a new sound for all players to enjoy without breaking the bank. The Starclassics are outfitted with die-cast hoops, your tuning will be more consistent, your snare will have crisper attack, and powerful rim shots. The eyecatching Charcoal Onyx finish and chrome hardware provide the looks to match the sound at a tremendous value.
From Tama
For more than 30 years, the distinctive, traditional sound of birch has made it the go-to choice for numerous pro drummers. Now, TAMA takes birch in an entirely new direction. Proportionately melding inner plies of bubinga with the classic birch exterior, TAMA has created a blended shell that combines the focused attack of birch, with the enhanced low-end of bubinga—delivering totally a new sound—both dynamic and versatile.
