For this limited edition, Sonor selected a certain tree with the goal in mind to only use the most exciting parts of the grain and set them to perfectly set vertical grain patterns. Vertical outside veneer grains were introduced through SONOR in 1973 and have been the company trademark ever since. All veneers are sourced at specialized suppliers in Germany, which guarantee that these trees come from environmentally friendly sources and are exported / imported legally.

The snare features a gorgeous high-gloss-lacquered, Macassar Ebony veneer and chrome plated fittings. Die-cast hoops on top and bottom. The bottom hoop has an open bridge design to fully benefit the Dual Glide System. The lugs are the classic Phonic lugs with internal Tune Safe, which are a great compliment to the hand-selected German Beech shell.

This exclusive package includes a unique “One of a Kind” case, made by Hardcase UK, and a personal 'welcome to the SONOR family' package.

This snare drum has a limited edition volume of 80. It features an extremely limited run of special designed snare drums with spectacular natural grown veneers and new shell designs. The badge highlight has laser cut mallet shaped logos, made out of the same veneer that is used on the snares itself. Each One Of A Kind snare drum is delivered in a hard case, made to Sonor's specification and includes a personal 'welcome to the SONOR family' package.
