Co-designed with acoustic virtuoso Eric Skye, the Santa Cruz 00-Skye is a custom 12-fret small-bodied instrument engineered specifically for fingerstyle precision, ergonomic comfort, and rich tonal depth. Built with a solid Adirondack spruce top supported by hot hide glue-installed Adirondack braces and paired with a highly resonant Cocobolo back and sides, its deeper body construction enhances bass response and internal air volume without sacrificing intimate playability. It features a matte-finished V-profile mahogany neck with a slotted peghead, a wide 1-13/16" nut, a 24.9" short scale length, and an elegant SCGC logo inlay at the 14th fret. Elegantly appointed with ivoroid binding, herringbone purfling, nickel Waverly tuners with ivoroid buttons, a zipper back stripe, and a tortoise pickguard, it comes complete with a deluxe hardshell case.

This hardworking instrumentalist has gained a loyal following both as a dramatic and expressive live performer and an in-demand acoustic guitar instructor. To match his distinct personality and playing style, Eric and Richard collectively dreamed up a gorgeous Cocobolo OO with an Adirondack top.

Features include a unique 24.9 inch scale length for ease of playability, slightly deeper body for added bass and volume, hot hide glue with Adirondack Spruce, scalloped bracing and a distinctive herringbone purfling and ivoroid rosette.
