Inspired by Great Depression-era small-body acoustics, the Santa Cruz 1929 00 pays homage to vintage design with refined modern luthiery. Constructed entirely from solid mahogany—top, back, sides, and matching mahogany body binding—this 12-fret instrument delivers exceptional midrange warmth, fundamental clarity, and surprising projection supported by custom scalloped bracing. Weighing an featherlight 3 lbs 7 oz, it features a comfortable V-shape mahogany neck with a matte finish, a 1-3/4" nut width, a 24.75" scale length, an unadorned ebony fingerboard, and a solid peghead overlaid with ebony and the vintage SCGC script logo. Appointed with subtle purfling, an ivoroid/tortoise rosette, nickel Waverly tuners with ebony buttons, and a tortoise pickguard, it offers timeless understated elegance and effortless playability.
