The XSR are a quality cast cymbals at a great price. For the XSR Series, Sabian used the latest cymbal-making technology and drawn on many of the same production methods used to make their high-end X-Plosion and Evolution cymbals. XSR cymbals are hammered and feature enhanced profiles. Bells have been reshaped and redesigned to accelerate the overall sound of the cymbal. The result? SABIAN was founded in 1981 when Robert Zildjian - one of the world's great names in cymbal making came to the conclusion that drummers needed a better choice of cymbals.
