What We Think

Weight: 7.5 lbs.

The Reverend Bayonet - a lean, mean, shreddin' machine!

The vibrant finish immediately pops out and catches your eye, but what keeps your focus here is so much more than mere looks. A modern take on the traditional set-neck design, Reverend pushes boundaries with pronounced bouts and slick drop-tops that just beg for your attention. The Korina body is extremely lightweight and brings crisp, articulate clarity to any note and the ebony fingerboard gives a phenomenal biting attack giving you a guitar fully capable of slinging out all those arpeggiated and sweeped notes that would otherwise go unpronounced. The high output Railhammer pickups sing out a tight, bright tone, and the bass contour knob allows you to easily dial in anything from completely tamed distorted tone to a amp-rattling destruction. The 24 and 3/4" scale in addition to a 12" fingerboard radius make this guitar the shredders dream to play, and it doesn't hurt when something that plays so nice sounds just as good!

Manufacturer's Description from Reverend

A modern design with classic looks! Railhammer Anvil bridge and Chisel neck pickups deliver thick, heavy tone with cutting clarity, but that’s not all it can do… the versatile pickups and Bass Contour control make this a great all-around guitar for everything from clean to mean. And the forearm bevel, satin finish and ebony fretboard offer a level of comfort, playability and style that can only be described as luxurious.

About Manufacturer

Reverend is the brainchild of Joe Naylor. Joe's decades of formal training and hands-on experience, along with our small, highly skilled staff ensures that Reverend delivers the goods:

TONE - Great design makes for great sounding gear. We have a deep respect for (and extensive knowledge of) fine vintage equipment. At Reverend, those sensibilities come together with design innovation that satisfies the most discriminating players.

STYLE - Reverend guitars are an extension of your musical individuality, a unique voice in a sea of clones.

VALUE - We put extensive research and development into our products to raise the level of performance. That is why Reverend products are often compared performance-wise to gear costing several times more.

SERVICE - A product is only as good as the people who stand behind it. Reverend service is legendary. Why?...because our philosophy is simple: treat customers the same way we'd want to be treated.
