What We Think
The PDP SP402 kick drum pedal is designed by Drum Workshop, the company behind the legendary 5000 series pedals. Its chain-drive mechanism with an offset cam provides the best combination of smooth action and durability you can find. The SP400's included 2-way beater lets you choose between the traditional thump of a felt ball or the high-transient "click" of hard plastic, which really cuts through a dense mix. An all-new racing-inspired footboard and a sturdy steel base plate make the PDP SP402 kick pedal stand out from the pack.

About Manufacturer
Pacific Drums and Percussion (or PDP for short) is a division company under Drum Workshop established in the year 2000 to provide high-quality drum equipment to those unable to afford the higher prestige and quality Drum Workshop equipment. Pacific Drums and Percussion also manufactures drum hardware and accessories. Their factory is located in Oxnard, California. The line still uses some custom techniques, but primarily uses computerized machinery to cut costs and reduce steps to create high-quality drums in large quantities.
