Condition: Used, Very Good
When it comes to a straight ahead, true blue, 18-style dread, this is as good as we've ever seen/heard/played. Sounds more like an old Martin than plenty of Martins we've played! Jim Merrill's dedication that late 30s/early 40s Martin sound is complete and the results of his work are just totally unforgettable. Stunning clarity and cut in the big, brawny bass; mids that can be sweet and cello-like or throaty and aggressive; sweet, clear trebles with just a touch of overtone content. The whole department has been in complete awe of this guitar since it arrived with us--get this thing out of here before someone makes a rash decision!
