Sound Pure's Take
Condition: Used, Excellent. This model was made pre-2025. The battery pack for the pick up is covering the serial number of the guitar and it is thusly not readable.
SP Luthier Notes: The truss rod and bridge were adjusted to a small degree. Some of the frets were polished, recrowned and leveled. No further work was required.
Investing in an instrument of this caliber is a decision that resonates for a lifetime, and this J-14 Fret beauty, graced with a gloss-finished spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides, truly embodies that spirit. Its genuine mahogany neck, shaped to a GE Modified Low Oval with High-Performance Taper, offers supremely comfortable playability, while the meticulously polished, recrowned, and leveled frets ensure every note rings true, a testament to its careful stewardship. The subtle adjustments to the truss rod and bridge ensure a rock-solid, responsive instrument. With its striking abalone inlays, golden open gear tuners, and powerful forward-shifted X-brace, this isn't just an instrument; it's a unique specimen, ready to inspire your musical journey for years to come.
