Sound Pure's Take
Condition: Used, Very Good. This guitar has had the bridge re-glued to the body and its stability has been verified.
SP Luthier Notes: A neck reset was complete. A setup was performed. There was a whiplash crack around the area of the nut that has been repaired. The bridge was reglued and secured correctly. the frets were polished and recrowned. a few minor dents were dropfilled and refinished. No further work was required.
The Martin 000-18 Modern Deluxe is a refined small-body acoustic that blends vintage-inspired tone with modern responsiveness. Its VTS-treated spruce top and Adirondack bracing give the guitar a lively, broken-in feel with impressive clarity and dynamic range, while the mahogany body adds warmth and a focused midrange character. The 000 body shape and shorter scale create a comfortable, intimate playing experience that responds beautifully to both fingerstyle and light strumming. Premium details like gold open-gear tuners and ebony appointments give it a polished, high-end feel throughout. Warm, articulate, and highly expressive, this 000-18 offers a timeless voice with modern refinement.
From Martin and Co.
The 000-18 Modern Deluxe is a new take on Martin Vintage. This guitar is packed with custom features and modern technology that you have to see, feel, and hear for yourself. The vintage appointments include a spruce VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM® (VTS) top, a dovetail neck joint, and natural protein glue construction, giving it the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. The look is unlike anything in our production line with East Indian rosewood binding, stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a unique 1930s style script logo inlaid in pearl on the headstock. Some ultra-modern features include Liquidmetal® bridge pins with red dots and a composite carbon fiber bridgeplate that boosts volume, and a neck shape that is slightly asymmetrical for maximum hand comfort up and down the fretboard. This guitar is anything but standard.
