What We Think

This guitar comes with a Fishman Rare Earth pickup, but chances are you won't need to use it. This guitar is a cannon, but one that can reign it in if need-be. The rosewood really pumps out the brillance, the highs are just plain shiny and the bass his warm and clear as day. The Sitka top keeps the string to string clarity in check, resulting in an overall tone that is shimmering, bright and balanced. This Larrivee has a huge 1 7/8" nut width, making this guitar an ideal choice for the fingerstyle guitarist, fretting up the neck is also a breeze on this guitar. There's some serious abalone going on here too, this isn't an instrument for the bashful. If you want your good tone to be heard, and your guitar to be seen, then this is the box for you!
