Sound Pure's Take
"The LaChapell 992 is the crème de la crème in the world of high voltage stereo tube mic preamps. Achieving the difficult and delicate balance of rich/creamy tube sound with an incredibly high level of detail places the 992 in an elite club that few others can claim to be a part of."
