We're absolutely thrilled to be working with the good folks at Iris Guitars! This gorgeous J-185-inspired model gives both vintage instruments AND modern re-issues some serious, serious competition. While the look and feel are simple, the build quality is every bit on the level of the beloved boutique and custom shop instruments out there. Dry, crisp, and punchy, the clear and bold voice of this AB is more than fluent in any early 20th century folk/roots style you can think of!

The AB Model is our third model in the Iris Guitar Company line-up. Introduced in 2020, It’s modeled on the J-185 and would be considered a small jumbo.

Because of this, this is a bare bones model with basic appointments to excite even the serious guitar aficionado. If you have been interested in a Fairbanks or Circle Strings guitar, but can't afford it, this is the perfect introduction to our guitars. Our goal is to make the best guitars we can for the player.
