A sophisticated and articulate 00 from Staunton, VA!  I'm loving the look and sound of the Cocobolo on this one.  Aside from being absolutely gorgeous, Cocobolo has the hugely beneficial effect of scooping the midrange and tightening the highs and lows.  Typically guitars of this size have a noticeable burliness to the mids that "honks" or "barks"--this is a far more civilized creation!  The dark, rich lows and bright, keen highs make for a dynamic but thoroughly balanced voice.  The 1 3/4" nut and scale length coming out to just under 25" couldn't be more comfortable.  I was genuinely surprised by this guitar--far from low expectations, I simply didn't know a 00 could to the things this guitar does!  Fingerstylists of all stripes seeking inspiration and satisfaction, look no further!
