The Henriksen JazzAmp has proven itself to be THE jazz guitar amplifier for gigging jazz musicians over the past decade. The JazzAmp provides all the power, portability and features a jazz guitar or bass player needs with 120 watts of analog power, a 5 band graphic EQ, reverb, input gain control, studio grade line out, FX loop, extension speaker out and headphone out. The JazzAmp is built in two sizes; the 310 is a 10″ speaker combo and the 312 is a 12″. The JazzAmp 310 is has a slightly tighter response to cut through a band mix while the 312, originally designed as a bass amp, has a softer response and can handle much lower frequencies which makes it more ideally suited for solo fingerstyle, 7-string guitar or, of course, bass.
The JazzAmp features an Eminence Beta speaker and a defeat-able Eminence tweeter for an even, full range response in port tuned cabinets designed to handle the low end of an upright bass yet maintain high end complexities necessary for guitar or other instruments. The Beta speaker gives you a warm, dark and mellow tone and the tweeter creates a high frequency dimension that sparkles and really brings out acoustic qualities of your guitar, and will add an acoustic quality to your solid body guitars or EUB’s.
The feature set on the JazzAmp includes an input gain control along with the 1/4″/XLR phantom powered combo jack to accommodate almost any pickup system. The 5-band EQ offers the ability to adjust the amplifier to the room without altering the original tone of the instrument. There is also an extension speaker output, FX loop, tweeter defeat switch, balanced XLR line out and a headphone jack.
Henriksen, Inc. began life as a telecom hardware manufacturer and software development company. In 2005, our founder Bud Henriksen began working on the JazzAmp to fill what he saw as a void in the marketplace for a guitar amplifier designed to meet the needs of jazz guitar players who wanted extremelyhigh quality sound in a portable package. Keys to our success have been manufacturing in our own facility to keep quality control as high as possible, using all analog designs to preservetonalintegrity, and 100% commitment to the absolute best customer service in the industry.
In 2013 we began to branch out beyond the realm of jazz guitar and have introduced The Bud for acoustic players and singer-songwriters, and we will be releasing more products from our pipeline in 2016.
