Sound Pure's Take

This Goodall Jumbo could be the one guitar to keep you from playing the others currently in your lineup, it's that good. The Jumbo is a fantastic body size from James and you get a lot of the power and space you'd expect in Dread/Jumbo guitars but also with a clarity and dynamic range that you'd find in something more like a OOO/OM. This specific instrument has one of the nicest Sitka tops you'll ever find and paired with the East Indian Rosewood you get a very wide, very dimensional sound that has a focus on the highs and lows with a midrange that is very sweet and pleasing to your ear. If you want a guitar that can captivate your listeners in just about any setting give us a call about this lovely pre-owned Goodall!

From Goodall Guitars

The Concert Jumbo, a beautiful new shape!

In November 1998 after 26 years of building some of the finest steel string guitars ever constructed, James Goodall announced the addition of an exciting new box size. This is in response to increasing requests for a more comfortable, smaller body dimension than the Goodall Standard (near in size to the Dreadnought).

"the powerful, rich, and clear tone has exceeded my expectations"

The end result is a beautiful new shape called the Concert Jumbo. "The powerful, rich, and clear tone has exceeded my expectations," James Goodall said of his new Concert Jumbo.

The Concert Jumbo series guitar is slightly smaller than the Standard series and larger than the Grand Concert series guitar.
