The Koa back and sides are sonically and visually stunning, with the typical bold and rounded Goodall voicing you're used to hearing. The guitar has a warm sound with great balance while still retaining a focused shimmer on the top end of the frequency spectrum. Flat picked single notes sound just as good as softly strummed chord melody on this guitar. The cutaway gives you access to a host of higher registers you usually can't hit on your larger-bodied instrument. The Aloha, a no compromise entry level Goodall! Goodall Guitars has reintroduced the Aloha model because of popular demand. It now features a beautiful wood on the fretboard and bridge called pheasant wood - an extremely hard and dense Hawaiian wood that is dark red brown in color with black streaks. "a touch of Hawaii" It comes in either koa or mahogany back and sides with a Sitka spruce top, pearl rosette and peghead logo, black fiber binding (NOT plastic) and chrome Gotoh machines. No compromises, just great looks, tone, and playability as always found in a Goodall guitar.
