From Golden Age Audio

Versatile studio workhorse The FC1 mkIII is a high-quality large capsule condenser microphone inspired by classic studio workhorse mics. Designed with versatility in mind, its wide frequency response and large dynamic range ensure that it performs fantastically in studio, live sound, and broadcast applications. While it’s an ideal choice for lead vocals, choirs, and acoustic instruments, it also shines in stereo pairs for drum overheads or room capture. Its 130 dB of SPL handling also allows it to be used on louder sources like guitar cabinets. An internally-switchable 100 Hz high-pass filter lets you cut low-end rumble at the source. Vintage voicing The sonic character of the FC1 mkIII is similar to that of popular vintage microphones, and well-suited for use with most instruments and voices. The FC1 mkIII features a center-terminated capsule that provides a shimmering top-end that never sounds harsh, while its FET transformer-balanced output stage captures bass exceptionally well… adding the heft and warmth that only transformers can deliver. The FC1 mkIII also includes a spider-style shock mount and vinyl carrying pouch.
