This is an incredible acoustic with a sound that's bigger than your typical OM! The Engelmann Spruce makes for a richer midrange than other types of Spruce, and Cocobolo makes for a sparkly yet deep sound with lots of reverb and snap - a lot of sonic pallette for the ears to digest! The craftsmanship on this piece is impeccable throughout and this is really an incredible acoustic with a sound that is perhaps a little more out there, and it looks absolutely gorgeous too! Don't miss this one!
The GA-72 is our Cocobolo guitar with it’s own unique voice and appearance.
With the finest Mexican Cocobolo back and sides and an Engelmann Spruce top, the sound is simply moving. The guitar is accentuated with BWBW purfling, a rosewood rosette with an abalone ring and Ebony wood binding on the body and fretboard. Abalone purfling can be added as an upgrade. The neck is 1 3/4″ at the nut with an mahogany neck and ebony fretboard. The fretboard is marked with the subtlety of abalone 4 mm dots. The headstock has an abalone G as well.
