Sound Pure's Take

Studio Monitors, possibly more-so than any other component of a recording studio are a point of personal preference. There's no one size fits all monitor on the market, but these twin6's have worked quite well in our studio here at Sound Pure. You're also likely to find a lot of other big fans of this monitor if you ask around or check the forums, and I would argue that a large part of the positive consensus on this monitor is due to their ability to represent a huge amount of detail and definition while still remaining a playback system that's easy to listen to. If you're sick of sitting infront of studio monitors that seem to be screaming at you with all of their detail, you owe it to yourself to try a pair of twins. Think of these as a monitor that still has that level of detail, but instead of screaming about it, these monitors present it to you in a much gentler way. If you have trouble engineering for long periods of time, or you want to get great mixes AND enjoy the process while you're making a mix, these monitors deserve to be on your short list.

From Focal Professional Studio Monitors

Twin6 is 2.5-way monitor offering transparency, a level of definition, dynamics and soundstage precision that is unrivalled in this price range. Thanks to its Focus full-range mode, Twin6 is two monitors in one, where the woofers alone become full-range speaker drivers.
