Another forward-leaning winner from Eastman's AC series! I think this may very well be my favorite from their superb modern acoustics. The combination of Engelmann spruce and Flamed Maple is just irresistible--you get nuance and tonal complexity akin to a classical guitar's from the Engelmann while the improbable sustain, tightly controlled bloom, and fantastic overtone cohesion from that Maple might just convert fans of Rosewood and Mahogany alike. Fingerstyle is certainly the immediate association, but I can see a hybrid picker informed by Jazz exploring a lot of new territory on the AC608CE. Most commonly associated with finger-stylists, the Grand Concert is also flat-pick friendly due to its depth. All Eastman Grand Concert models have an elegant slotted headstock and a functional 14 frets clear of the body.
