The bronze shell projects ample high and mid frequencies, but without typical harshness you would expect from bronze. In low volumes, the thinner shell excels with sensitivity and expressiveness. At the louder volume levels, fat backbeat and cracking rimshots can be achieved without having to hit the drum too hard. Dunnett Classic drums also have advanced hi-tech features like the R4 throw-off and Hypervent while maintaining a classic, elegant look. The Dunnett tube lugs have a solid feel with a throw back charm, and the Dunnett script-style badge is reminiscent of vintage drums. Designed by the amazing Gergo Borlai, the Bronze shell offers patented hybrid edges, meaning the top edge is flanged and the bottom edge is non-flanged. This gives the drum a bright punch, an even amount of warmth and articulation, and the perfect amount of resonance.
