Sound Pure's Take
If you're the type of engineer that wants every piece of hardware to have obvious color that leaves its unique sonic signature on everything that passes through it, you can skip right on to the next piece of gear on our list. If, however, you're looking for a compressor that will glue your mix together, bring up the back wall in a nuanced, musical way, and maintain the stereo width and high-frequency content of your mix, then check out this compressor. It is phenomenal.

***
This is the cleanest and most musically transparent compressor that we've ever used. We were so blown away by it that we felt compelled to share our experiences with it with the rest of the world. So, we shot it in HD video and posted it to YouTube (if you have the computer power and bandwidth click the HD button to see it in its highest res audio/video). Otherwise, let us know if you would like some better resolution mp3 clips, and we will e-mail them to you.
