How to get a lower price, instantly!

Why do we do this?

Some manufacturers have a "minimum advertised price", which restricts how low of a price we can display. By requesting an e-mail quote from us, you give us the ability to offer you a lower price than anywhere else on the web. A quote on the product will be sent instantly to the e-mail address you enter, and you can add the product to your cart at the lower price displayed in the e-mail.

What We Think

Condition: Used, Good.

SP Luthier Notes: (A) Minor dent(s) present on the guitar required our luthier to fill, color match, and refinish the area. In this guitar's case, these were on the top and neck. There was a more intensive finish repair/touch up done to the corner of the guitar's peghead. The neck joint had naturally shifted over time leaving much to be desired of the guitar's action. Our luthier removed the neck then reset the neck joint to factory condition. The frets as they were could not be repaired to an acceptable state so they were replaced with spec accurate fretwire and shaped into near mint condition. All of the frets were polished, recrowned and leveled. The truss rod and bridge were fully adjusted. No further work was required.

Unlock a world of rich, resonant sound with this select Italian Spruce and Indian Rosewood dreadnought. This isn't just a guitar; it's an investment in your musical journey, meticulously cared for by our master luthier to ensure it plays as beautifully as it sounds. The guitar's voice is a testament to its premium woods, promising a full, bold tone with remarkable clarity and projection. Our luthier's careful work, including neck and finish adjustments, has revitalized this instrument, making it a rock-solid partner in your creative pursuits. The expertly recrowned and leveled frets offer a smooth, lightning-fast feel, while the stunning Brazilian Rosewood head veneer and multicolor herringbone backstrip lend it a touch of classic elegance. This exceptional find is truly a testament to premium tone and playability.

About Manufacturer

Bourgeois Guitars are defining the future of vintage tone, combining old-world hand-voicing techniques with modern innovations in design and materials. Built in a ca. 1850s mill in the industrial town of Lewiston Maine, master luthier Dana Bourgeois and his small team of highly skilled craftsman produce some of the finest steel-string instruments available today.

Known for tonal excellence, meticulous craftsmanship and top-notch materials, they are played by six-string luminaries such as Bryan Sutton, Ricky Skaggs, Sean Watkins, Della Mae, the late Doc Watson and countless professional and nonprofessional enthusiasts. Bourgeois guitars have had a prominent role in the American steel-string guitar renaissance for more than two decades, helping shape acoustic music’s most recent rise in popularity.
