This guitar began its life in an Adirondack forest surrounded by other trees. However, there was something special about this one that made Robin Boucher think. . .Bluegrass!

The AAAA Red Spruce top was hand-selected for the acoustic arms-race that has come to define one of this country's most beloved genres of music. It has the kind of stiffness to weight ratio that dreams are made of. It's powerful, quick, and articulate. It can cut through, overpower, or simply sing along.

The Mahogany back and sides came all the way from South America to join the fight. It's truly a continental affair. It's milk-chocolate hue and elegant grain structure compliment the paleness of the top beautifully. It rebounds ample fundamental, book-ended by high and low overtones that could convert a devoted rosewood-lover to the joys of its more "humble" brother.

Being a Boucher, the play-ability is exceptional and the balance is extraordinary. Despite its name, there's really nothing you couldn't play on this marvel. Just be prepared to play it loud!

About Manufacturer

A few years back a wonderful man named Robin Boucher drove to Sound Pure studios all the way from Canada. In his back seat, nestled in lovely tweed cases, he had some of the finest acoustic guitars to ever cross our northern border. We became immediate friends and his work was mind-blowing. The clarity of the tone, the immaculate fit and finish, the effortless playability. To top it all off, Robin got his start as a WOOD DEALER. He happens to live in an Adirondack red spruce forest!
