Condition: Used, Excellent
This stunning instrument is a titan among alternative tuning and fingerstyle-centric guitars. The longer scale length and rich, complex tonewood combination offer the player an unreal new world of tone and voice--you'll find that downtuning, rather than posing problems to articulation and clarity, only serves to bring this guitar to life. You just don't find this degree of sustain, tonal complexity, and sheer presence in other, more traditional designs. If it's that sound that's stuck in your head, nothing else will do!

In 1974 I opened my first shop in Ottawa, Ontario. Since that time it has been my passion to understand the mystery and intricacies of building the perfect acoustic guitar. Each instrument is hand made using only the finest tonewoods and the accumulated skills that only years of experience can bring. Every guitar is a challenge filled with variances and nuance. It is for this reason that I work alone, carefully ensuring the highest standards throughout every step of the way.
Chosen by two-time North American Fingerstyle Champion Don Ross, world renowned Celtic guitarist, Tony McManus as well as top players, Craig D'Andrea, David Gillis, Paul Asbell, Del Vezeau, and Ray Montford, my guitars have long enjoyed a reputation for the highest standards of workmanship and tonal excellence.
Realizing that building a guitar is often a collaborative project between builder and player, I welcome the opportunity to work with you in turning your dream into reality. Personal service has long been an important part of my approach and I fully appreciate the fact that a satisfied customer is the best possible advertising.
I feel fortunate indeed to follow a career that I would gladly have as a hobby. This is a rare privilege and I am thankful for the opportunity to do what I love best, build acoustic guitars.
