Sound Pure's Take
Weight: 6.4 lbs
When the guitar looks this good, you almost don't care what it sounds like! Fortunately for us, this Hollow T Classic also happens to have more than enough tone to back up its stunning appearance. Put this guy in your hands and you will experience rich bell-like tone and warm, even sustain akin to a grand piano. The rosewood top over the alder body accentuates both the high and low end, and the body chambering makes it all the more airy and full.
Hollow T guitars from Anderson are down-right amazing! Weight is a factor for so many players these days. It's great that Anderson offers a beautifully crafted hollow choice. Now let's talk about this rosewood top! Paying homage to the custom solid rosewood guitar presented to George Harrison back in the day, but with the hollow qualities taking this version to a place you have only dreamed of! It's bold in tone and fast in playability. It doesn't hurt that it happens to be one of the best looking tele's around, either! Anderson continues to hit it out of the park. You just can't go wrong.
From Tom Anderson Guitarworks
By now everybody but everybody knows that the coolest traditional T-style guitar is the T Classic, and has been such for a long time now. Out of 36 “T” guitars tested in Guitar Player Magazine’s “Tele Shoot Out” in the July 1993 issue, the T Classic won it all!
Traditional pickguard trim.
Traditional control plate plays host to a 3-Way or 5-Way layout that will deliver so many sounds you will have to add songs to your set list to use them all.
Solid or hollow body chambers.
One of these is what you play when you want ripping "T" tones that jump to the forefront of the mix while being supported by rich low-mids.
